HIIT strength workout

This workout combines HIIT and strength into a nifty little workout for your whole body - mainly legs, arms and a bit of core.


You need just one weight - a fairly light dumbbell or a light kettle bell or household object!


There are 5 exercises, and we do each exercise for 40 seconds, and 10 seconds rest between exercises. We complete 5 rounds and there's 30 seconds rest between rounds. The exercises are:

  1. Squat to reverse lunge

  2. Squat jack with overhead press

  3. Split jump lunge with overhead press

  4. Squat jack with chest press

  5. Lateral squat with hop and press
