On paper this might sound like a gross combo but it's actually very nice tasting, as don't really taste the spinach, think more tropical smoothie! My son Henry loves it too, and he's not a particular spinach fan. Lots of great nutrition in here too - including vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, iron and protein!
Ingredients:
1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped
250ml milk (any type, unsweetened), or coconut water
2 big handfuls of baby spinach (or a chunk or 2 of frozen spinach)
150-200g frozen mango
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (or you could try 200g non fat greek yoghurt & tsp honey and dash of vanilla essence)
Method:
Put all the ingredients into a blender, blitz until smooth and serve!
