Turkey is a very easy way to get lean protein in to your diet, and reduces the fat content you might get in traditional beef burgers. Turkey isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I do like it and with great seasoning and spicy flavours you can make a really delicious burger. I've not got a pick of one of these in a bun, but they are as equally as tasty with buns as well as within some lovely lettuce!

Ingredients (makes 2 burgers):
400g turkey mince
3 tsp fish sauce
small handful of coriander leaves roughly chopped
2 tsp sesame oil
4 spring onions finely sliced
2 burger buns (if using)
2 tbsp greek yoghurt
3 tsp chipotle paste
Lettuce and / or tomato slices to serve
Method:
Put the turkey, fish sauce, coriander, spring onion and sesame oil into a large bowl and mix really well together, seasoning with salt and pepper
Shape the meat into two equal sized burger patties
Cook your patties - either on the BBQ or under a grill for around 5 mins each side until totally cooked through
Whilst the burgers a re cooking, mix together the yoghurt and chipotle paste and spread over the burger bun (if using)
When the patties are cooked, serve up in the buns and / or with lettuce and salad of your choice!
Enjoy : )
