This basically means in this workout we're working single and both sides of the body! Using both bodyweight exercises and dumbbell exercises we've got a whole body workout, that makes sure that each 'side' of the body plays it's part. Sometimes with bilateral exercises, a more dominant 'side' can take over, and the weaker or more lazy side, hides in the background! No room for hiding here!
There are 12 exercises in this workout, grouped into 6 pairs. Typically each pair has an upper body and a lower body exercise. Each exercise is performed for 45 seconds with 15 seconds rest, and you do each exercise twice. Each pair of exercises takes 4 mins for a total of 24 minute workout.
